Breast Cancer Survivors Meeting Tonight
Area Breast Cancer Survivors will meet at the Pizza Ranch on Wednesday, November 17, a room has been reserved.
Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. with conversation to follow. It's friendly and informal! All area survivors are welcome to attend!

Tour Delights 5K Run
The Tour deLights 5K run will be held on December 12th this year. The race will start at 5 p.m. with registration at 4 p.m.
The race will begin at the US Bank Community Building.

Risk and Margin Management workshops for cattle feeders scheduled in December
A series of risk and margin management workshop will be held for cattle feeders from Dec. 9-17 across northern Iowa. All workshops will be from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Land O Lakes Purina Feeds dealers are helping sponsoring the workshop in cooperation with the Iowa Beef Center and Iowa State University Extension.

HERITAGE AGENCY SPONSORS CAREGIVER WELLNESS DAY
The Heritage Area Agency on Aging will host its annual Caregiver Wellness Day event Friday, Nov. 19, 2010. “A Celebration of Caregivers” is designed to give support and encouragement to informal caregivers of older adults in East Central Iowa and to help them focus on their own health and well-being.
This free program will be held at the Kirkwood Training and Outreach Services Center (KTOS), 3375 Armar Drive, in Marion, and registration will begin at 8:30 a.
Holiday Events planned for Vinton
It's never too early to start making plans for the Christmas season! As we did last year, Vinton Unlimited is partnering with our local merchants to help kick off the Christmas shopping season the right way! We've got some great activities planned in November and hope you will join us for all of them!

The 2nd Annual Lighted Holiday Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting will begin at 6:00pm.
Windsor Manor holds Craft Extravaganza and Bake Sale
The Vinton Alzheimer Support Group is led by Sharon Carpenter – please contact Sharon at 319-573-5605 for more information. The group meets monthly at Windsor Manor but will not have meetings through the winter.
Parkinson’s Support Group the 4th Tuesday at 1:30 held at Windsor Manor in the dining room.
Mentor Club to meet
